Extracurricular Activities

Islamic Lecture Series
           
During all scheduled courses we offer a comprehensive lecture program on different aspects of Islam.  These talks cover both historical and contemporary topics, with the objective of fostering cross-cultural dialogue.
           
Lectures are approximately one hour long, followed by a half-hour question and answer session.

Tours of Fez

The centre offers three tours during each session: a general tour of the Fez Medina, one that focuses on Mederssas, and one of the Mellah or Jewish quarter. Upon request, a tour of the main mosques is also available to our Muslim students.  

Sports
           
A variety of sports opportunities are available to our students.  Those wishing to play sports during their stay may do so at affiliated sports clubs in the city.  Trips to the Fez stadium to watch football matches may also be arranged.

Day/Weekend Trips

The school can arrange trips and transportation to a variety of sites throughout Morocco based on students’ needs and wishes. Possible destinations include: Sidi Harazem, Ifrane, Moulay Yacoub, Meknes, Moulay Idriss, Volubilis, Chefchaouen, Asilah and Merzouga.
