Al-Murshid Ila Lugha L’Arabiya and Al-Kitab Al-Asasi
Modern Standard Arabic 100b and 200a (Al-Murshid Ila Lugha L’Arabiya)
Al-Murshid Ila Lugha L’Arabiya will introduce students to basic grammatical structures as they develop their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. By the end of the course students will have a solid foundation in Arabic and be able to read and write short texts.
Prerequisite: MSA 100a or the permission of the instructor. Students who already know the Arabic script are encouraged to take a one-day refresher course before the class starts.
Modern Standard Arabic 200b, 300a, 300b, 400a, 400b (Al-Kitab Al-Asasi, Part Two)
In this series of classes, students will complete Al-Kitab Al-Asasi, in addition to various supplementary materials. Students will deepen their knowledge of all aspects of Modern Standard Arabic, learning to read complex texts and deepening their understanding of advanced Arabic grammatical structures.
Prerequisite: MSA 200a or the permission of the instructor
